  3. When I was working in NJ, one of my housemates and I went in together and bought a '67 Fury III, 383, station wagon since we both had sports cars. It was a great hauler and I moved in it twice. Great for hauling both a washer and dryer at the same time. I bought him out when the gang broke up and I moved back to Georgia. By then it was far gone with NJ rust and I sold it for basically nothing.

  5. Reminds me an awful lot of the Family Queen Truckster in metallic pea. But that’s just me, I guess.

  6. Love those roof-rack bumper steps and grab handles. The design man was thinking.

  8. We had a 1967 Dodge Polara wagon. Similar design.

  9. If you mentioned that whanged-up front bumper, you could get it for an even better price.

  12. I had an uncle that had the Fury Station Wagon with a 383. He changed out the rear to a 4:10 limited slip so he could pull a camper. That car was built like a tank and unless it had 300 to 400 pounds in the back end it was a stiff bumpy ride.

  13. Outlaw Child car safety seats and bring back station wagons and bring back big families!

We show that laws mandating use of child car safety seats significantly reduce birth rates, as many cars cannot fit three child seats in the back seat. Women with two children younger than their state’s age mandate have a lower annual birth probability of .73 percentage points. This effect is limited to births of third children, households with access to a car, and households with a male present, where both front seats are likely to be occupied. We estimate that these laws prevented fatalities of 57 children in car crashes in 2017 but reduced total births by 8,000 that year and have decreased the total by 145,000 since 1980.

  16. I'd settle for a 383/727 no AC car. Also, '68 Mopars had the best side marker lights ever. That or the 3 section rectangular recessed '71 B body SM lights.
