And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? Raquel Welch auditioned for the part of Mary Ann on "Gilligan's Island," but was turned down for being "too sexy." 1964
Well, there's no doubt that Raquel is rocking that outfit Mary Ann made famous, and that Raquel is quite the looker, but Mary Ann is still the one most would wanna take home.
if I took her home, I would have to hide her from my dad ! granted Dawn Wells is smoking hot in anything. there is going to be something about Raquel. the smile, the way she tilted her head but it would never happen, she was burned once by a Aries male and would never date another one.
Run for 20 years :-) They were going to renew it, told the actors. Then the wife of the network president told her husban she wanted Gunsmoke extended to an hour ... so they canceled Gilligan's Island to find that extra half an hour.

Bastards! Gunsmoke was good, but Gilligan's Island was great! Damn all television executives!
