And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
The Hoodoo Voodoo Sauce is a good Texas BBQ sauce. The guy that owns this place did a lot of research in Texas to bring Texas style BBQ to Connecticut.
If your barbecue needs sauce, your doing it wrong. The early morning sky in Llano, Texas isn't lit by street lights. It's lit by the pits at Cooper's Barbecue.
My barbecue doesn't NEED sauce (dry rubbed pork spareribs, smoked for 4-5 hours at 225), but sometimes I still dab a little on, just like my wife doesn't NEED makeup to be beautiful but will occasionally apply a little foundation and neutral lipstick.
I'd be taking home a Flinstone rack of ribs every day !!!
ReplyDeleteI much prefer pork ribs.

DeleteCorrect, BBQ done right doesn't need sauce... but I've never had any BBQ that doesn't taste better with sauce.
