And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
My fist visit to NYC was in the winter and it was snowing. When the snow stopped coming down I noticed the snow was grey. I looked closer and there little black specs in the snow. The wind was blowing from the west from New Jersey.
I wonder if all those residents are thinking about their lungs....

ReplyDeleteCould be NYC, could be London, could be any major city in the world. All have used coal as an energy source and all have had major pollution issues.
