And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Doesn't really give it justice. I have seen the wing takeoff several times from Offut AFB near Omaha. It is almost invisible on the horizon when traveling perpendicular to it southbound on highway 55. It then banks and climbs and scares the bejeesus out of you. It is really quite large in all actuality.
Like some of the others here I've seen it flying a few times and after a lifetime in Aerospace, everytime I see it flying it takes a bit for my brain to sort out what I'm seeing.

ReplyDeleteBut I saw the B-2, just once, doing a low approach at Cincinnatti. Thing looked like a shadow moving right through the middle of the air.
