And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It's only a bad obsession if you don't invite me over for dinner after perfecting your new recipes, don't you know. It's the least you can do for making me hungry as much as you do.
I surely will. I've got a long way to go to finish the current projects and then turn to the smoke house. But, Imagine how much it would increase the property value to add that to the property. A smokehouse! I'd get a lot of looks just for that.
A friend has an ex-brother in law who is Karuk and lives in Happy Camp. He's got a smokehouse that's probably worth more than his regular house. (Alright, that might be a little bit of a stretch.) And seeing as how he's an indigenous guy, he never has a shortage of salmon to smoke.
Most folks never recall smoked crawfish but they are great.
