And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The F-35 Demo Team is in town this weekend (along with the Viper & "Rhino" teams), and, as the aircraft make their turns right over my house, I get plenty of opportunities to hear that engine. That M-F is LOUD.
Looking at the stabilator size and wing clearance, that looks like an F-35C. Same basic engine in all three but the F-35B has the swiveling nozzle. I used to work there on that program till I retired and saw the production floor quite often.
Living close to Luke AFB now. Those loud mfers go over two to three times a day and turn it on a few miles out. Largest jet engine ever put into a fighter.
Assembly line in this plant is close to a mile long.

ReplyDeleteThe F-35 Thunderjug is also the largest sinkhole ever installed in the military budget, until the Navy launched the Ford.
