And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
These recent few years have more sailors reporting they are being harassed by Orcas. Most notably in the Bay of Biscay and off from Spain, there have been reports of rudders and occasionally the propellers severely damaged. There have been instances where the entire rudder is missing.
It has been difficult to figure since Orca attacks occur to different types of sail boats whether drifting, under sail, motoring, or sitting on a mooring.
