  1. Not a bad price at all. I have the Presto version and it gets quite a work out this time of year when garden stands pop up all along the highways. Little bit of a learning curve. Somethings don't dehydrate well. Some (potatoes for example) must be peeled and blanched first. Some must be peeled first as the peel will shrink and turn to steel. The worst part is cleaning the grids cause the stuff gets baked onto them. Oh, and the noise. We sit ours on the washer in the laundry room and keep the door closed. It also produces a fair amount of heat and humidity. You can fit 20 large dehydrated tomatoes in a 1 qt Ball jar. Spoon em out over the winter into soups, stews, etc. Or eat em crunchy style.

Completely useless in the USA. The plug is the European style 2 round prongs. Even with a adapter it still requires 240v not the standard 120v in every home. ‍♂️ What a waste of time.
