And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
this looks like a cool place to sit in some shade and have some water and a snack and listen to the silence backdropped by the ticking of the engine cooling....
Oh, I dunno. A patch here or there, some fresh paint, a rug and some throw pillows and viola, paridise! Or something right out of Baghdad Cafe. Just need an airpot of coffee...
Reminds me of the place my parents pulled into to escape a hailstorm in Muleshoe, Texas, way back in the late 50's or early 60's. We saw the greenish gray clouds bearing down on us - fast! - and the flood gates opened just as we pulled under the old canopy. Very shortly after that, close lightning begat LOUD thunder, and the cloud started spitting out hailstones slightly larger than golfballs. Was damned dramatic, and awe inspiring. Didn't last too long, the thunderstorm moved off quickly - Mother Nature at her best and most impressive.
