And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
when I get the urge to buy a boat, I read a book on boat maintenance. if that does not work, I drive around town and look in all the places I have spotted interesting boats, and I am SHOCKED! to see none of them have moved.
Your comment reminde me of a magazine article that I read long ago. The author and his friend both wanted an XKE. when one was getting dangerously to buying one the other guy left a repair manual on his desk open to the page on differential repair.
