And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Small fact, there was a 100 year Typhoon in the Sea of Japan the same week the original Jap home island invasion was supposed to happen. Again the sea would have saved the land of the rising sun but for the fact that we bombed them with the power of the sun a few months earlier.
That picture should be in the front hall of the Aviation Boatswain's Mate "A" School.
