While the MSM hyperventilates over Judge Kavanaugh, the Senate confirmed 26 other federal judges Trump had nominated.

As the fight over Judge Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the US Supreme Court unfolded this summer, consuming most of the oxygen available for judge-related punditry and spurring millions of dollars in ad spending by outside groups, the Senate confirmed more than two dozen of President Donald Trump’s judicial picks to lifetime appointments with little fanfare.
Twenty-six federal appeals and district court judges secured seats on the federal bench in the two months since Trump announced Kavanaugh as his latest Supreme Court nominee. That’s more than the number of judges confirmed in the first half of the year, and more than the number of judges confirmed in all of 2017.

    1. Same here LL. President Trump is playing Star Trek 3-D chess against
people who have yet to master Tiddlywinks. He made it clear that
the Donks in the Senate had to clear the slate of judicial appointees
before they went home to campaign.

He knows damn well that by forcing them to vote before the election
that there are at least 4 vunerable Senate Democrats that will be
between a rock and a hard place. If they vote no, it will be an
instant campaign issue in those states.

Kavanaugh will be confirmed even if a few squishy Senate Republicans
go weak in the knees. The Donks are going to vote for his confimation
in numbers just high engough to protect those Senate seats. President
Trump is a LASER pointer and the Democrats are cats. The Democrats
have no clue how badly they are being played!

  2. McConnell- "the Turtle" really has me puzzled. Has this old shellback changed his spots?

I'm delighted that he's accomplishing so much, getting those district judges confirmed is wonderful, but either I've been totally wrong about him for a long, long time or he's decided to throw in with Trump rather than the RINOs that he's hung with for so long. Whatever it is, I hope it continues!

    1. Ekseyman old pal, I am not surprised at all. McConnell and Graham
have both jumped on the Trump Train a while back. It looks like
Trump's successes have coat tails large enough to carry reformed
      RINO's.
