And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I'm glad to see this got picked up nationally, the picture was first brought out by Peter Boyles last week on his morning KNUS radio program and has been summarily ignored by the local Denver media. These two ought to be ashamed of themselves...but yet, they aren't...their tortured mental logic makes them believe they are the righteous ones. Nimrods.
As much as I respect their RIGHT to protest, I abhor their choice. And I still wish the lady would turn around and smack them up the side of their heads!!
I've stopped watching the NFL. If the NFL thinks it's ok for oppressed millionaires to do that to our nation I can voice my displeasure by not watching their product. Between turning professional football into an anti-America demonstration and the brain injury the game does inflect on it's players, in less than 20 years it will be gone. All my grandkids play soccer.
homeowner next door to denver. yep. da donkos. denver's mayor just yesterday or so released his version of a financial budget. interesting $17+ million dollars for supporting the homeless. wow. $1.5 BILLION total budget. for one year. wonder who is going to pay for that? back in 2015, denver voters voted to give up their own money they overpaid in taxes according to the TABOR amendment to the state constitution. these are the folks who gave congress diane (when the magazine is empty they throw it away)DeGette. Denver voters gave up their TABOR rights forever. done. Denver is pretty much why colorado is blue. So. Yeay. Losers...even if they win they will be losers. of course, none of these losers actually own property in the denver taxbase. which for those young millionaires is their only win.
I'd like to see one of the conservative graffiti artists put up a bunch of Kaepernickel Nike photos, but with the caption "Be Grateful not Hateful" instead. I mean put them up, like everywhere.
In the longer term, I look with interest at the next big city that puts a bond issue (or levies a special business tax, like Houston did) to fund construction of a new NFL stadium. team owners have been getting the gold-plated free-stadium treatment for years, but will they still? Can't wait for the fireworks that ensue. I think it will be an important cultural litmus test.
So what is it that they are protesting? If they are protesting police brutality.....why don't they go into the hood and lead a class on "how to NOT get brutalized by the po' po'" (Opera Non Verba)

ReplyDeleteThey OUGHT to have their heads down......in SHAME!
ReplyDeleteThere ought to be a fundraiser for all the oppressed ghetto-heads. $5.00 a person to kick one of these losers in the ballsack.
ReplyDeleteWould raise more money in an hour than they've given, ever.
