No Good



Florence isn't the only storm headed for the eastern seaboard. At least three other storms (Hurricanes Isaac and Helen), as well as a tropical storm forming on the horizon.

  1. If we had paid the weather tax, this would not be happening. And if it still happened, we'd just need to pony up more money to the government.

  2. Florence seems to have a fix on or about Wilmington, NC. Both the national and local prognosticators are firming up to the conclusion that Florence may be a combination of Hugo and Harvey [went through fringes of both]. Time to check preps or leave.

  3. One look at that satellite picture and it just screams out, "It's September 10th! Peak of the season!"

  4. A buddy that lives in Myrtle Beach just gave me a call asking if he could park his RV in the driveway of my mountain house for a week or two. He is loading up his valuables and bugging out. I am going to get a few deep sea fishing trips out of this if his boat survives. :)
