  3. I read the details on this gun a long time ago. The two smaller
    bores are in rifle calibers of 8 something to 9 something mm. It
    is a shotgun/rifle combo of European design.

  4. This is a vierling, vier is four in German. Drilling is a mispronunciation of dreiling, drei being three in German. The rifle barrels are most likely in 9.3x62mm chambering, 9.3x62mm was the German competitor to the 375HH magnum. Most dreilings and vierlings have a selector lever so the trigger fires the shotgun or rifle, you wouldn't want to hit a bird with a 300gr solid meant for a cape buffalo or hit a charging buffalo with birdshot.
