Bumblebee Jasper

Bumblebee Jasper, also sometimes called Bumblebee Agate, is found on the island of Bali, in Indonesia.  This naturally colorful semi precious gemstone cabochon material isn't really a chalcedony, (jasper or agate) but is actually a mixture of volcano lava, gypsum, sulfur, hematite and a small amount of orpiment.  The material is soft, with a Mohs hardness of 5 or below.
