And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Whales nearly devour two hapless divers off the California coast
I like how an instant before they surface, the herring froth out of the water. Note to self: if when swimming in the sea, suddenly thousands of little fish leap up out of the water, swim for boat immediately.
What a whale of a tale they can tell their grandchildren some day!

I've been that close to a humpback whale before. I was in a boat at the time. It did not make me feel any safer!
