And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Yup, they like big squid and they'll dive really deep to get them. Some of the whales have been found to have 3-ft diameter sucker marks on their skin, so there are squid a lot larger out there than we thought.
Yeah, that's what that big head is for, a giant biologic active sonar to find the squid in the dark and eat 'em. Hoomans are not their kind of food, all bony inside, not salty like squid. And since we don't hunt them anymore, they've got no reason to go all moby dick on us.
I wonder what it's like. You're a squid, living in the cold and almost dark, drifting along in the placid current arms out always feeling for fishies, looking for them with those big black eyes. And suddenly the water currents madly swirl in every direction as a vast unseen bulk, as dark as can be, bumps into you, slides past and then a toothed jaw clamps down. Yikes!
Look at the size of those Remora. I wonder what they taste like.
ReplyDeleteDon't like the texture, too rubbery.
ReplyDelete…but they are really vegetarians. Seriously…they ‘eat’ krill…
ReplyDeleteKrill is animal. It’s a tiny, prolific shrimp
DeleteAs long as you're down there help a fella out, get a couple of those remora off em.
ReplyDeleteLook like sperm whales (toothed). Meat eaters.

Out of all the Greek mythical monsters, the Kraken is real. We know them as Giant and Colossal Squids.

Parts of that sperm whale poop (ambergris) is worth $3-400 per ounce.
