And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I bought my first motorcycle in the summer of 1982. When I showed it to my grandpa, he begins telling me about the motorcycles he had prior to WW2. They included three Harleys and one Indian 4-cylinder. I had never heard him speak about them so, I was a little shocked, having never heard those stories. And he had no pictures of any of those bikes. He died of pancreatic cancer the following year so, that chapter of family history is annotated in a short conversation. I was a young Airman then and didn't have many more chances to visit him because of geography.
