The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

A warm day: no gloves, no ruddy cheeks, no hat, no jacket. No sunscreen streaks on the face. I see ski tracks underfoot. Those look like ski-lift pylons in the background above a groomed slope, with a mogul hill behind. So she's at the ski-lift base. Between the brands and the terrain, that looks like Europe. She's got a pack full of gear, but she doesn't look like she's ready to go anywhere.
