  2. My first car was a hand-me-down '50 Champion like that one only mine was black and didn't haven all the bling. That may not be a Champion but I'd need to see a side view to tell if it's one of the big ones. Those grilles and the short bumper don't look right.

  3. Curb Feelers could make a comeback and save millions in damage to alloy wheels! Then again, that may be why automakers are installing $$$ top-down surround camera systems these days!

    1. The Van Der Hoeven sign in the background suggests Holland. Searching for images of vintage Dutch licence plate you will see plates exactly like that one for the early '50s. Looks like someone has added every possible accessory to a '51 Champion.

    4. Hadn't thought about that. The nose is definitely '50 but Googling '51's it looks like the grilles are '51.

  6. My very well off aunt and uncle each drove one and I always thought they were the ugliest things I had ever seen. The cars that is. And still do.
