And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Big Bad Billy and Clementine the kittens (actually teenagers now) lurking in the garden. As cats do.
Had cats. Mom put a bird bath in the back yard, because she liked to watch the birds come by, but the back yard rear border was a raised wall planted with bushes. Bird bath was about 3 feet in front of the bushes. Cats used to wait in their little jungle for hours waiting on birds to come for a drink or a wash. It took about a dozen feather piles before mom figured out she hadn't put in a bird bath, she'd put in a cat feeder.
