  1. I saw it years ago at my local airport, my dad even got to go on board. Unfortunately the russians destroyed it early on in the current war.

    3. The Russians have been saying that since their 10-day special military operation (NOT an invasion) kicked off 1,300 days ago.

    5. Hey Tree Mike how exactly did Ukraine start the invasion of their own country?

By your logic if someone brakes into your house rapes your wife, kidnaps your children and kills your brothers it is your fault.

  5. It was built to transport the Russian "Buran" space shuttle so it's unlikely that it will ever be built again. https://www.nationalgeographic.com/adventure/article/soviet-space-shuttle-kazakhstan-film-science

    2. I gather it was routinely engaged on very heavy / bulky cargo charters so maybe there is reason to build another.

  6. I’ve had the opportunity to see the 124 up close. It was huge. The 225 was a beast.

  8. There was a second one, not completed in storage. There may have been enough pieces parts, salvageable from the 1st one to complete the second.
The title "The big boy is back", indicates it's completed.
