And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

I just now got my pair of these, and I gotta say they are very comfortable. I like.
I keep 2 pair of Merrills in rotation, the newer pair as casual/hiking shoes and the older as shoes to wear for work in the yard. These are my 3rd and 4th pairs. My yard shoes are just about ready for the trash and I've been keeping my eye on them at Amazon, but Jeez have they gotten expensive. My sense is they're 50-75% greater than a couple three years ago. I'll prolly have to bite the bullet one day and order some and then grumble about tariffs or the Fed or something.
Was gonna get me a new pair of same till I read they are made in a different place now and the bottoms are slick on wet surfaces. Trying out a pair of Oboz. Loved my MOABs
Ten years plus on my Merrells, two pairs only so far. Second pair still going strong, no where near wearing 'em out.

ReplyDelete14EEE meself, Merrill's have a Monson Lift or close to it, lots of toe room for us duck foots. Like the high tops best.
