And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

I certainly long for a time when people had a lot more self-respect for themselves and far more respect for others in the way that they dressed in public.
Those old-timers had fathers and grandfathers who told them what it was to be riding free on the plains and in the forests, living in teepees and eating buffalo. They may be wearing Anglo clothes now, but they still have the eye for style and decoration.
