And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I know the real probability is still small, but that's being on a local maximum of the chance of being impaled by a billfish like a marlin or sailfish going through the bait ball.
A long time ago when I was a new & young scuba diver, I'd seen videos of people taking cans of spray cheese underwater and gathering whole schools of fish to themselves by spraying cheese strings underwater. My ignorant self thought "If they can do that with a can of spray cheese, I should be able to do something like that with my leftover cheese from lunch's ham&cheese sandwich." So the first dive after lunch, I suited up and dove in with the slice of leftover cheese clutched in my hand. I didn't even have a chance to bob up from the giant stride in before I got mobbed by a bunch of yellowfin jacks that ate the cheese out of my hand. Closest I've come to swimming thru a bait-ball.
