And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It gets pretty cold here for 4-6 months out of the year. I have a Carhartt coat slightly longer at the bottom and the collar isn't so tall and it has a hood. I also have a LL Bean down vest with a collar like that and it's irritating enough I seldom wear it. To each his own.
Used to wear Carhart all the time but swore off them after the Covid nonsense and their jumping on the "vaccinate or get fired" band wagon, haven't bought anything from Hornady for the same reason. Went to Berne clothing, basically same thing. Unfortunately neither of the two make their stuff in the USA.
that tall zipper will be irritating
ReplyDeleteYou're just not in a cold enough area for that jacket if the zipper height bothers you.

DeleteTen days where the high is -15f and you'll never notice the high zipper... because of the layers under it...

ReplyDeleteYes. This.
DeleteDri Duck is a good brand with much less variety, but very high quality for a good price, in my opinion.
