And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Somebody eventually, is gonna come up with a way to carry hawks and war axes, not seen before, and its gonna revolutionize the axe, its got to be some kind of combined tech, where the weapon is highly secured but at the touch is released to hands in a snap. Even nice light war hawks, in the under one pound size, like the excellent Colonial Era produced especially French Indian war period, if your kitted out with say MOLLE type tac gear, really hard to find the right spot and it not interfere with your other gear or be difficult to quickly draw fir rapid use, you know with nag pouches, canteens, IFAK, pistol etc, they require a lot of real estate. Though to be fair everything is a compromise kit wise.
--G1 1.0 out of 5 stars Over Price & Poor Quality, buy anything else... Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2020 Verified Purchase This product is over priced by at least 8X; i paid $192 delivered and felt totally ripped off! The scabbard snap/rivet was separated/disconnected, the scabbard strap does not fit snuggly enough around the axe to carry withour axe flopping around; it is of low quality materials and workmanship. There was a screw on the handle of the axe installed cross-threaded and to add insult to injury, the axe blade is not sharpened! Completely blunt! It looks like Gerber is circling the toilet bowl.... must have been bought out by gready private equity or somthing... bought a cheap, $20, stainless steal survival axe from Whetstone, to replace this. Shorter, smaller, but It is of better quality, and so cheap, I could have bought nearly 10 of em' for the price of the pathetic Gerber Downrange
at a minimum, sure to double an opponents pucker factor.
