And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The original (successor to the Scout 80). Ford copied it and won the ad wars. I had a Scout II, Dana 44s front and rear, big 345 V8, wish I could replace it.
I H built the scout in ft wayne indiana . 20 mi. from where I grew up. Several people in our neighborhood worked there and drove I H pick ups, scouts and travalalls. A lot of farms in the area used the red tractors . They could by for a discount if they worked there. 10000 people worked there in the late 70 s / early 80s . all gone now but the brick buildings.
