And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I like the finger hole, great control and purchase, but I'm not sure I could ever use that tanto blade shape. What does one use the short leading edge for, I wonder?
My son gave me this knife and I tried to like it, tried to find some utility in it. Instead, I found it almost 100% dysfunctional. Not a big fam of serrated edges neither. I have at least 6 Gerber knives presently, use my Quickdraw the most. Lastly, that locking mechanism is the least safe of any I have ever tried.
Not for me.... I prefer a sleeker dagger shape, a longer blade, and more "stabby" characteristics. Also, I've never had much luck keeping a serrated blade sharp, an prefer the plain simple slicing edge.
I prefer curved blades, sharrrrrrrrrp, shinyyyyyyyyyy, or not shiny.
ReplyDeleteI’ve had this knife for close to ten years. Love it. Kept on my pocket on patrol and replaced by Gerber for free when I broke it. Still my go to EDC
