This is great

If you could believe it, some people haven't ever heard of, or listened to, those old rock classics.  An example is Skynyrd's Free Bird.  Check out this guy's reaction - he thinks he's about to hear some country.

  1. I don't usually do this but this is an amazing Free Bird solo video by Blues Rock harmonica pro Will Wilde. You have no idea how tough this is on a harmonica and how well he did it. As an aside, I have no relationship, personal or professional and have never even met him but, here goes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=5&v=UtXP2-5IC2E&feature=emb_logo

  2. I've seen quite a few of these "reaction" videos. Blue Eyed soul like the Righteous Brothers, Tom Jones. It's a tiny bit of encouragement to me that at some level there is a chance we can see eye to eye on something..... I sure hope that little bit is enough to get some common ground... If nothing else, it reminds me that the loud are few... hopefully.

  3. Even more astonishing is the reaction of a young black kid to hearing Ella Fitzgerald for the first time, in a setting where the drummer DOESN'T play lead, and the melody is carried by an adult.

Music hath charms to soothe the savage breast....

  4. People are missing out from not listening to the great music of the past. Years of listening to rap, pop country and kiddy pop has destroyed their ear buds. Old mo town, rock of the late 60s and 70s, old country, and some classical will heal them fast.

  6. Allan Collins, man.... Watch his performance of same at Knebworth, opening for the Stones... Possibly the most inspired live performance of any song I've ever seen. 7 plus minutes of absolute boundless joy as he defiles that Explorer.

  7. The name of the band was the name of their gym teacher in high school.

    1. Leonard Skinner I believe it was. It was almost like hearing for the first time again watching his response. Great video and well spoken young man. No filler words or phrases. He will go far. I had the great opportunity to see them in concert with all the original members but one. It was amazing watching all those 🎸 rocking in unison.
