And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
There used to be one of those in a garage on the shortcut to my bud's house. It was covered in boxes, and all you could see from the road was the grill and a that tiny "The Judge".... Same color.....
I remember these coming out as a spin-off from Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In - with Sammy Davis Jr. dancing out in a wig and robe saying "Here come da Judge! Here come da Judge!" Remember that?
when i was 16 in 1981, I bought a 69 Mercury Cyclone Cale Yarbrough edition for $275, drove it a year and i sold it at an auction for $550, at the same auction there was a guy with a 4 speed 70 GTO Judge, and his reserve of $1,600 was so outrageously high that he didnt get a single bid. a couple of days later I went to the guys house and drove it, and didnt buy it because the shifter was all messed up and it was very hard to find the gears. just a reminder that all the cars that are big bucks now, at one time, were just worn out gas guzzlers that non one wanted.
tx judge
