And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? My first car, at 17 was a 59 Chevy Bel Air 4-door hardtop with the wraparound rear window. I paid $75 for it in 1966 or 1967 (2 wks pay to me). It was not junk either. What will 2 wks pay buy you for a car these days?
I owned a green 59 Impala SS 4 door with the 283 (smallest V8 in those days) and a 2 speed power glide transmission. You could do 60 mph in first gear. What a tank!
My dad bought a '59 Chevy sedan. I was never impressed with the fin styling.
