Wow, check this out! Techniques the Hong Kong protesters are using to defeat the tyrants and their police.

I especially like how they beat tear gas and deal with the danger of stampede.

Michael Yon thinks there'll be martial law any day.

In another article I read somewhere, it was postulated that an actual military invasion, which of course would be the instinctive reaction of the tyrants in Beijing, would result in enormous and immediate financial consequences.   Given the trade war the Communist government has now gotten into with their biggest market, that may not be a very realistic option, unless they just don't care or are stump stupid.

We'll see, but certainly this situation is getting more and more interesting by the day.

  1. there is a build up of mechanized infantry just a bit inland from hong kong. troop level is way over and above what was there two months ago. (open source info) do not doubt that the masters will scotch this protest soonest.

  3. Hong Kong was screwed when Great Britain left them. This has been a long time coming. The 'reconciliation' will be a model of what Taiwan and Singapore will expect in the coming years.

Yes, Red China wants Singapore, and Singapore knows it, it's why Singapore is investing heavily in defense and high-tech defense equipment.

  4. The protestors are not winning. They will lose, and lose big. What freedoms they enjoyed up to now will be rescinded. There will be direct rule from Beijing.

Xi isn't Eisenhower or Kennedy or Johnson. He is a dedicated Communist. He saw what happened when Gorbachev lost control, and he won't. Expect the tear gas and rubber bullets to be replaced with real bullets.

Everyone, UK, US, UN, everyone has agreed that both Taiwan and Hong Kong are part of mainland China. That is a done deal.

And Beans is right. Singapore is on the list. It is a Chinese city state, with a population that is overwhelmingly Han Chinese. It also controls a choke point. Once the Taiwan and Hong Kong hash is settled, they are next.

  5. The Chicoms don't (won't) care how many 'protesters' they have to Massacre to "Maintain Order" as they have a Billion or so to spare. All those cute "Riot Technique" things don't matter a Rat's Ass without Guns to Shoot the .gov Thugs with, so don't expect this to actually "Change" any Chicom government policies.
As for any U.S. response to a Massacre, they are already having a "Trade War" with Chinamart, what else could they Do except Embargo the chinamart chit at Wallyworld? What would that do to the U.S. 'economy'? Then what happens if the Chicoms throw out the Trillion$ of "Treasury Bonds" they Hold, and the FUSA instantly cannot fund its Budget that is run on constant Borrowing?

Buy Gas, Guns and Grub, prepare for the Zombie Apocalypse.
