Perfect! Giant decal, plenty of horsepower and two engines for safety, and one giant US decal.

  1. Grumman "Goose" 400 to 600 HP engines (depends on what year it was made. 1943 NAVY paint job (red border on star was only used in 1943) Small, Short range, unarmed. Never used outside the states. RARE today, and very expensive.--Ray

  2. Two engines do not necessarily make for greater safety. The stats re outcomes when a single engine plane and when a twin engine plane lose the power of one engine are similar - in fact, the outcomes for twins are worse. There are many reasons for this, but one main reason is that many pilots have insufficient and/or recent training for when a twin loses power.

    Great looking plane!

"Scotty. main power please." Captain Kirk
"I can't do it Cap'n, I can't change the laws of physics, I need another half hour." Scotty
"We are going to crash in 30 seconds" Captain Kirk
"Argh, why didn't you say so. Full power coming right up." Scotty
