And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Absolutely agree. Back in the early 60's, WGAN (Maine) erected the "World's Tallest" tower. My good friend's father was the engineer. He's go to the site frequently and in the fall when the birds migrated, would arrive and the ground would be covered with dead birds. That tower is still there and the migration patterns haven't changed. The public hadn't a clue - the same company that owned the tower also owned the state's biggest newspaper. Massive bird kills were not newsworthy (sarc).
What's the big deal? All ya gotta do for that $75+ an hour job is know how to turn a nut clockwise. Hell even a congress person like A.O.C. could do that.....Well OK, I'm givin' that last statement a little more thought.
Good. Another photo for my "Nuuuuupe" folder.
ReplyDeleteHow I loathe those birdchopping monstrosities!
