Motor Porn - A Photographic Study of the BMW S85 Cylinder Head


As well as having dual variable valve timing, 10 individual throttle bodies, long-tube 5-1 headers, and the ability to rev to 8250 RPM, all intake and exhaust ports in the S85 were CNC machined after casting for optimal flow.

  1. I had to look it up as I couldn't recall BMW ever doing a 5 cylinder engine, derp, it's a V-10.. lol.
