And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. Someone bought a new copy of the Hobbit and found this inside.
The Lord of the Rings (and Hobbit of course) is a classic and it is absolutely timeless. Masterpieces don't come along very often, but the books fit the characterization. The movies are pale mooncast shadows in comparison.
"The Hobbit" is indeed a good read. The movie was quite a disappointment.
