Hi CW,What a trip, Beech 18's "On Floats!!" no less!!! If I had a nickle for every "10-MAN STAR" we went for out of one of those,(without floats of course!!) I'd be good for at least a couple 'a cases of BEER!! Early "Skydivin'" was done mostly from 4 to 6 place Cessnas. Then some DZO introed a Beech 18. Ya' could generally get 10 jumpers in one, $7.50 (in the early 70's) to 12,500 ft. Down the hall, tun right and "DIVE!!!!" down to the "BASE!!" Too Much FUN!! The "Turbine Babies" of today "Have No Clue!!!"SCR-2034, SCS-680,B-4240, C-3114, D-6009,skybill-out
Made my first jump from one of these in 1981 at the Badcau reserve near Shreveport, LA.
