And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
What is the irrepressible desire to touch the other stuff? My 2 year old loved to reach out and poke gigantic orb spinners. It was like she couldn't help herself. I'd leave horses an acre and if I wanted to touch one, I'd shoot it half a dozen times, once more to make sure it was really dead and then sneak up on it. I don't like horses.
Horse language - ears back, you have trouble.
