Extraordinary Entrance

  1. This is the entrance door of the Casa Jeroni Granell, an Art Nouveau (Modernista) building located in Barcelona, Spain.

The building was constructed between 1902 and 1904 and designed by the architect Jeroni Ferran Granell i Manresa.

The door features intricate carvings and stained-glass panels with floral motifs, characteristic of the Art Nouveau style.

The architect co-founded a prominent stained-glass workshop, which likely produced the exquisite glasswork seen in the building's facade.

The facade is noted for its dynamic, organic lines and asymmetry.

    1. If I had written that the bedwetters would have said, "That Snippy-know-it-all never fails, from his mother's basement."

So childlike, so predictable, so deserving of a punch in the face.
