  1. I think everyone has to ho watch the pro's drag once, a great show, you have to see with your own eyes and ears how fast they are. From my own experience, tire tech has made it the only way to reduce driveline parts breaking, whilst gaining max traction. Those guys got it down to a very sophisticated science. Lot of trial and error and back of the envelope engineering gone into it all, the results speak volumes, the hp and speeds they have reached, and reliability are astronomical. And doing it with basically push rod engines. Akin to NASCAR pushrod engine technology, simply amazing the performance and durability they build into their drivelines.

    Didn't they develop those wrinkle wall dragster tires to help keep the tires from spinning and growing vertically keeping the max amount of rubber on the track, assisting the hole shot in making it off the line faster?
