And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
Always remember the first time coming down out of 4 corners, at night, the glow can be seen for a couple hours, and then you see it all, quite the sight. I think they need that damn to run those lights.
I reckon this is late 1946/early 1947. Harry James ended his band in '47. The Flamingo opened under the lights in '46.
