T-class submarine HMS Thorn (N11), built by Cammell Laird & Co Limited, Birkenhead, between 1940 and 1941. She had a short-lived career, being sunk in early August 1942 by the Italian torpedo boat Pegaso.

  4. Torps outside the pressure hull seems like a good idea, lot less plumbing and what not.
