    1. Those are exhaust stains coming out of the turbochargers.

    1. Wrong shade. Anyway, Schneider stopped painting its trucks yellow a couple of decades ago. Another company does that now. Anyway, the yellow barrels areb still, and forever, Schneider Eggs.

  7. It was owned by Tony LeVier, Lockheed test pilot. He brought it from the government after the war and used it as his racing plane for several years.

  8. I may have seen this plane in Okc when I was a young teen it was in the news for visiting the downtown air park for something. My mom and dad drove me down to see it on the tarmac.
