And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

Musta had some spare orange paint in the back they needed to use up
Wrong shade. Anyway, Schneider stopped painting its trucks yellow a couple of decades ago. Another company does that now. Anyway, the yellow barrels areb still, and forever, Schneider Eggs.
I may have seen this plane in Okc when I was a young teen it was in the news for visiting the downtown air park for something. My mom and dad drove me down to see it on the tarmac.
Might be a target tow plane.

ReplyDeleteIt was owned by Tony LeVier, Lockheed test pilot. He brought it from the government after the war and used it as his racing plane for several years.
