And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It's a faded dial - they call them "tropical-dial" watches. In fact, they're so desirable that one seller was busted recently for assembling parts to create the "perfect" vintage tropical dial watch. Sold at auction for millions, as I recall, before being found out.
No it is not a faded dial, that is in fact a current vintage Seamaster in brown dial and leather band. About $6k. The big money faded dials are on Rolexs, Pateks and Breguets.
For my diminishing eyesight, I need a watch that is uncomplicated and has a very distinct color difference between the dial and the hands. White on black (or vice versa), and all my EDC watches (4 of them) have that feature, PLUS they are all Citizen Eco-Drive watches that run off of light, no batteries ever.
Its what I'd wear when driving my BRG E-Type.
