  9. We used to have a ton of jacks here in NE Nebraska but since so many of the pastures have been turned into corn and soybean fields I have to go a long ways west to see a jack.

  11. Up here in Calgary Canada we have a lot of them in the city. Are yours as stupid as ours? When ours get frightened by a car they run straight ahead, in front of the car, too dumb to hook right or left to get out of the way.

    Their immigration into town has also brought in bobcats and coyotes. One of my neighbours has a motion activated and infra red lit camera in his back alley. He has lots of videos of predators going back and forth, often with a dead rabbit, cat or small dog in their jaws.
