And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
I did exactly that, yesterday. Left my house in Maryville and took mom Mom to a favorite place for her 85th birthday. Kyle Carver Orchards in Cosby, TN boasts a hundred different varieties of apples that reach peak harvesting times, throughout the season. They also have a huge variety of produce, jams, jellies and butters (peach is my fav) apple cider, pickled produce, a candy store and a million dollar view of the Smoky Mountains.
I had a VW Squareback I bought a an impound auction, one of many of my rides I should have kept. My little brother had a Fastback he put a Porsche 2.2 engine in. Sneaker, except the Weber carb was sticking up.
