And what country can preserve its liberties if their rulers are not warned from time to time that their people preserve the spirit of resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as to facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
those cars weren't quick, but if the straightaway was long enough, they would run you down, The other car similar was a Hudson Hornet...with a turbo, the straight 8 was surprisingly quick as well as a great top end, and you would float down the road, not bounce.
I've pulled ticks off of dogs that look just like that.

'51 or '52 Statesman, love the shape, hate the colour. One of the few cars with enclosed front wheels.
